The solubility of gamma Cyclodextrin in water is 23.2g/100ml (25 ℃), the solubility of (2-hydroxypropyl)-gamma-cyclodextrin( PGCD) in water is 80g/100ml (25 ℃), which is a mixture of multiple substitutions. It is not easy to generate Inclusion compound crystals when it is included with guest molecules. The cavity of hydroxypropyl gamma Cyclodextrin is larger than that of gamma Cyclodextrin, which can accommodate a substrate larger than gamma Cyclodextrin. It has higher water solubility and stronger anti crystallization ability.
